Parish Ministries
The activities of the church are carried out by the following commissions: Worship, Outreach, Fellowship and Education.

Worship
Worship is central to our lives at St. Andrew’s. Learn more:

Acolytes and Crucifers
Crucifers and acolytes perform a vital role in our 10:30 am Sunday worship service throughout the year. This group of people (including children, teenagers, and adults) plays a significant role in the liturgy and spiritual life of the church by lighting the altar candles, leading the processions, receiving the offerings, and assisting the celebrant. It is never to late to be an acolyte!  If you are interested in acolyting please speak with our priest, The Rev. Jane Gerdsen.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the church for all services, as well as for all weddings, baptisms, and funerals throughout the year. The Altar Guild is responsible for preparing the elements, changing the altar hangings according to church season, and arranging the flowers. If you would like to help with the Altar Guild, please speak with Sr. Beverly Gilbert.

Choir and Music
St. Andrew's Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. The choir sings regularly at the 10:30 Sunday morning Eucharist and on special feast days. The choir sings from September through May. Singing in the choir is a wonderful way to be a part of the St. Andrew’s community and to participate in worship in a new and different way. If you are interested in joining our choir or have questions, please contact our Parish Musician.

Lectors, Intercessors, and LEMS
The lectors are members of the congregation who come forward to read the first and second lessons.  The Intercessors lead us in the Prayers of the People. Lay Eucharistic Ministers or chalice ministers vest for the service and assist at the altar as chalice bearers. For more information about LEMs, Intercessors, and Lectors, please contact Harry Beyoglides or The Rev. Jane Gerdsen.

Ushers and Greeters
Parishioners serve as ushers and greeters. They hand out bulletins, extend a warm welcome to all worshipers, present the offerings and elements, and guide the congregation, as needed. If you would like to learn more about ushering or are interested in joining the Ushers' Guild, please contact Carlos Romero.
