Miami Valley Episcopal Russian Network (MVERN)
A unique outreach between ten Miami Valley churches and a pioneering Russion Orthodox Church. The mission of the Miami Valley Episcopal Russian Network is to foster a spiritual and personal relationship between St. Nikolas Russian Orthodox Church in Sablino, Russia, and the churches participating in MVERN.
Millennium Development Goals
The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) – which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 – form a blueprint agreed to by all the worldís countries and all the worldís leading development institutions. United Thank Offering
The Mission of the United Thank Offering is to expand the circle of thankful people. To achieve this mission, we encourage daily prayers, offerings and awareness of the abundance of God's blessings.
Episcopal Relief & Development Fund
Episcopal Relief and Development responds to human suffering around the world. We provide emergency assistance after disasters, rebuild communities, and help children and families climb out of poverty.
Miami Valley Interfaith Dialogue
Open to all people who wish to engage in honest and sympathetic conversation about religion. Sponsored by Interfaith Ministries for Reconciliation. We welcome people from all religious traditions, or none; our discussions are informal and have proved enlightening to the participants. Please join us. Contact Norman Cary.
Episcopal Public Policy Network
The Office of Government Relations and the Episcopal Public Policy Network, of more than 15,000 Episcopalians across the country, brings the positions of the Episcopal Church to our nation's lawmakers. We represent the social policies of the church established by the General Convention and Executive Council, including issues of international peace and justice, human rights, immigration, welfare, poverty, hunger, health care, violence, civil rights, the environment, racism and issues involving women and children.
