Dayton Episcopal Ministry (DEM) is is the collaborative project between Dayton Episcopal churches who are working together to share resources and to forge a stronger witness to the people and institutions of the city of Dayton. The city of Dayton is in great need of Good News, and we hope to serve as a witness to the Gospel in an impoverished part of the city.

DEM will offer opportunities for congregations to work, learn, and play together. We will be partners in outreach, gathering volunteers to share in the work of mission to the city of Dayton and the world. We will also offer shared education opportunities. We will strengthen friendships and support networks through social activities, youth events, and opportunities for fellowship. We hope to spread the news about DEM and the growing relationship between our parishes through new web resources and print mailings as well.

In time, we hope that this partnership will grow to include other churches and service organizations that can work together to provide ministry to those in need in the city of Dayton. One idea is the Benefit Bank, a service to help those in need receive the benefits for which they are eligible; there may also be the possibility of children or youth programs, adult literacy programs, or outreach to the senior community.
